1. When and where is the event taking place? The event will be held on October 30, 2023 in Mt. Pleasant, SC, starting from 6:30 PM and ending at 10:30 PM. Doors open at 5:30 PM. Seating will begin promptly at 6:15 PM.
2. What is the main purpose of this event? Then The Sun Rose "Celebration of Womanhood and Culture seeks to honor and uplift the multifaceted experiences of women while shining a spotlight on the rich tapestry of cultural heritage. Join us for an immersive journey into stories, arts, and traditions.
3. How can I purchase tickets? Tickets can be purchased online via https://bit.ly/sun1023 , tickets will not be available at the door. This is a dinner event and headcounts are mandatory for the Caterer to prepare the correct number of meals for attendees.
4. Are there any vendor or sponsorship opportunities? Yes! We have exclusive spots for vendors, and various sponsorship levels are available. For more information, please visit our 'Vendor and Sponsorship' section or contact us at admin@thenthesunrose.com. Vendor applications will be accepted through September 30, 2023. Vendors will be announced by October 1, 2023. Vending fees must be paid prior to October 15, 2023. Want to be a Sponsor please contact us.
5. Can I bring my children to the event? This event is designed for an older crowd, we prefer that you do not bring children under the age of 16. Ticket prices are not reduced based on age. Please contact us for further details if necessary.
6. Is there parking available? Yes, there is a ample free parking at the venue
7. What should I wear to the event? The event event is Semi Formal, please adhere to the dress code.
8. Will there be food and beverages available? Absolutely! We will have a nice curated dinner, and non-alcoholic beverages.
9. Can I take photos or videos during the event? Yes, you're welcome to capture memories! However, please respect the privacy of others. Also, note that event organizers will be taking photos and videos for promotional purposes. We ask that you you limit your camera usage so that everyone around you can enjoy the festivities.
10. What safety measures are in place given the current health concerns? We prioritize the health and safety of our attendees. Safety measures recommended by local health authorities, including [e.g., "mandatory mask-wearing, temperature checks, and hand sanitizing stations"], will be strictly enforced.
11. If I am coming from out of town where do I stay? We have a discounted rate at Tru by Hilton for those who have purchased a ticket, a direct link will be sent to those who purchase. There is also a list of hotels in Mt. Pleasant and surrounding areas. A link to a list of hotels is provided on our event page.
